What is biodiesel?
Biodiesel refers to a non-petroleum-based diesel fuel, consisting of a short-chain alkyl (methyl or ethyl) ester formed by the trans esterification of vegetable oils or animal fats, into unmodified diesel (either alone or with conventional petrodiesel.
